His journey began at the age of six, when he first picked up a rifle and developed a deep passion for hunting and the outdoors.

 Since childhood, Erik has dedicated his life to the wilderness—perfecting his skills not only in hunting, but also in spoor identification, animal behavior, and reading the land. Armed most often with his trusted open-sight .375 H&H rifle, Erik values precision, patience, and respect for the hunt. While he owns and uses other firearms, he believes the simplicity and challenge of open sights bring him closer to the tradition and spirit of African hunting
