At Kaiwhai Safaris we have a family friendly environment. We love it when a hunter tags the family along on the Safari to enjoy all the special moments together. We encourage hunters to bring the loved ones with if possible. Sometimes a couple of hunting days might get to long for a hunter’s spouse and children. We do have a spouse program for those who want to do something different than hunting every day.
In South Africa we are located 30 minutes’ drive from the world-famous Sun City Resort & Golf Course. This is the perfect day breakaway with world class Day Spa’s, photo safaris in the Pilanesberg National Park, a couple of world-class golf courses and a man-made ocean and beach with water slides. In our area we also have the Lion Safari Park and Lesedi Cultural Village where one can have animal encounters and learn more about the traditional way of living in Africa. We can also arrange a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary and the Primate Sanctuary where you can feed the Elephants and Monkeys.
On the hunting property itself, we have staff to attend to children during the day. We have a Jungle gym, trampoline, and a traditional pond-swimming pool. We can also do game drives on the property that allows for a good opportunity to do bird & Game watching and take some special photos.
Should someone be interested in shopping – we do arrange day trips to the city with some great Curio shops, shopping malls and jewellery shops.
For the more adventurous spouse we can arrange a day in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Here one can walk in the footsteps of the Ancient Prehistoric “humans” in the Sterkfontein Caves, visit the Wonder Caves and do hot-air balloon rides.
We also offer helicopter rides on the hunting property where you will be staying, and should a spouse prefer to fly to any of the above-mentioned outings, rather than driving, we can arrange it.
